Windsurfing: Blithfield Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: F 3-6 Surf / Sea State: Rolling chop Air Temperature: 12 Sea Temperature: Weather: Showers then sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Again showers were affecting the wind in the morning. Rigged 6.7m and went
out. Marginal at first but soon picked up to give perfect blasting on the
Bee 274. Comfortably powered up, carving up and down the chop and trying a
few hops. Gybing was not good with the nose diving when sheeting in on the
new tack, but I was still feeling the effects of yesterday, so was taking
it easy.
Wind picked up further, and 5.3m would have been enough, but I could not be
bothered changing down so settled in for some insane runs in the sunshine.
So powered up that I could jump on both tacks; usually there is a bias one
way. Gybing improved by moving front foot further across when changing feet
- almost planing out. Another suberb day, not quite as windy but less gusty
and overall, as good as yesterday.
